SwiftAI Autopilot (module)
The Autopilot module is the core component of SwiftAI Autopilot sets. This module connects to RC receiver and servos / ESC and, depending on current flight mode, either passes the signals from receiver to servos or overrides control, allowing manual mode, stabilized / fly-by-wire mode, cruise control mode, flight through waypoints and RTH.
Autopilot module supports:
- Automatic attitude control in stabilized / fly-by-wire modes.
- RTH (Return To Home) in emergency cases like loss of RC signal.
- Recording flight logs to onboard non-volatile memory.
- Communicating to PC via USB, to do the calibration, tune settings, download flight logs and update firmware.
- Communicating to sensors, OSD and IMU modules.
